A friend, a college classmate died yesterday. She loved what she was doing, loved the new place she had moved to and was looking forward to the future. But she had been less than well for months now. Unfortunately, her health deteriorated, the symptoms became acute and it was just too late.
She was a gentle soul and a beloved daughter, who carried a lot of burdens on her own. Very passionate about what she believed in, her conviction in her beliefs was sometimes awe-inspiring. I keep remembering snatches of conversation from the past, her sudden and very infectious laughter, her dimpled smile, her expressive face and so many other things.
My heart goes out to her parents for whom she was everything.
The world is a sadder, lesser place today.
